| She said, "I eat right and
do most of my own cooking. My poor eyesight
and hearing have made it more difficult to
socialize, but I still get out every chance
that I get."
Maggie and Martin worked hard on the farm
and she stated that she doesn't want to
go back to the old days. Her best memories
are of doing the chores so that her 3 daughters
could have an education and wouldn't have
to work as hard as she did. She succeeded
because her daughters were all in education.
She has 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren
and 2 great great grandchildren.
Although she cannot take care of all of
the outside flowers that she used to have
she still cares for a lot of houseplants
that give her a lot of comfort.
